Student Expectations

As a student at Hanham, you will receive five hours per subject teaching time delivered by specialist teachers. You will be supported throughout the programme by the Director of Post-16 studies and the Tutor Team. You will receive advice about Higher Education or Careers and, when appropriate, you will receive guidance about applying for financial support such as the Educational Maintenance Allowance.

Teachers will expect you to have 100% attendance at all classes and tutorial activities and to use the Common Room and study areas effectively and respectfully. You will be expected to set an excellent example to other students in the school. You will also be expected to keep up to date with all coursework and meet deadlines set by teachers.
