Learning CultureStudents are supported to acquire and develop research and study skills and are expected to use these in their additional non-contact study time. These skills are developed alongside excellent classroom teaching, clearly-stated guidelines for essays and coursework, assessment and academic monitoring. This will be the key to success in gaining a place at a good university and in employment or further training.
All students take part in an induction programme designed to help develop study skills alongside team-building exercises and a chance to visit and share activities with other Partnership schools. This programme called ‘Learning to Learn’ is followed up throughout the year in the tutorial programme.
