Drama
AboutThe HHS Drama department is buzzing this year! We have planned some new schemes of work for lesson time and we are launching a brilliant new extra-curricular programme, which includes performance opportunities for all Key Stages, as well as opportunities to get involved backstage with lighting and sound. In October KS3 Drama Club performed an abridged version of 'Much Ado About Nothing' for the Shakespeare Schools Festival at the Merlin Theatre, Frome. This was an exciting opportunity for KS3 to perform in a public venue and work with professional directors. The cast worked incredibly hard and were praised by the festival organisers for their clear understanding of the text. It was also performed on the 15th and 16th October in the Drama Studio.
